God speaks to you through your joy

For years I thought it was my job to "teach" people, to "lift" them up spiritually and to "care" for everyone else. And I did so. People learned, were uplifted, and cared for. However, sometimes I did this from a place of truth in my heart and other times I did it from a sense of urgency to "change the world." In the past I often burnt myself out as a result, gave from an empty cup, and got frustrated when I could not reach people.

Now I still teach classes but I do so when I feel like my heart and life are spilling over with something I want to share. Those that need the messages find me. I can enjoy my own classes now because I'm just sharing my own heart and lessons - not trying 'educate' minds, but rather trying to 'resonate' with hearts. I can do my readings now from the joy of working with the angels and knowing that wisdom will come whether or not people are ready to hear it. I can relax when I do not feel like giving, knowing that my down time is simply a time to fill up the cup so I can give more.

I had another past life regression* last week. Without going into details I saw that all my lives of martyrdom and suffering came from me deciding I'd come to earth and suffer through anything in an attempt to "wake up the world." Instead of just choosing to live my own life in joy and learn my own lessons, and trusting God would teach what he wanted through that... my zeal for "educating" earth got me into numerous lifetimes of pain, suffering, and torture. Blessedly, in this session, the angels showed up and relieved me of any residue of beliefs in my mind, heart, body, and soul that made me feel I had to suffer with and "for" others. The more I move forward, the more I want a life of incredible joy in which I can inspire those who want inspiration, rather than keeping misery company by being miserable myself. I think I'm done with those beliefs at long last - the ones that say "to care is to suffer with the suffering." Instead I now know that "to care is to assist by filling my cup and then sharing as God dictates."

Years ago the angels said "Ann, if a friend is standing in quicksand, isn't it more joyful to wait on the edge and offer a hand up rather than to jump in and let them stand on your head while attempting to climb out of the pit?" How little I grasped the truth of that statement at the time. To suffer with the suffering serves no one - unless you are joyfully guided to so - in which case you are not truly suffering. Dear souls such as Mother Teresa and many who work in disaster relief agencies, orphanages, and those who serve the poor do so because they are called to do so. It is in their hearts and it gives them joy to do so. I have met such saints among us. I have also met the martyrs who serve with little joy. I have been both.

If God wants you to do something, He gives you the longing, the heart, the physical and emotional energy, and the resources, to do so.

With the recent earthquake in Haiti, and in more disasters to come, we are all challenged to go into our hearts and ask, "God what, if anything do you want me to do for my sisters and brothers in pain?" For some it will be send money. For others it will be sending prayers or working in spiritual ways. For others, God will say, "Please take care of your own needs first and fill your own cup before you think of helping others." We must all ask, and then listen to the answer in our own hearts. The angels said if everyone can listen to the dictates of God through their heart, then NO one on this earth would be without. Those who can give joyfully would be easily matched with those who need to receive. There would be no sense of martyrdom or self sacrifice, but instead a heavenly flow from those with excess to those with need.

And while our world is nowhere near that level of evolution yet, this divine flow starts with us. So when you see others suffering, be it in a global disaster miles from home, or perhaps someone in your own family, pray. Ask God, "What do YOU want me to do, if anything, to assist." And then listen to your heart, your guidance, and do it. God always answers those prayers. If you hear nothing in reply, then doing nothing is the answer. It took me years to figure that out. God seeks to create balance in our lives an amongst all of humanity. We cannot judge whether or not we are doing 'enough' - we must TRUST that God will guide us to do what HE wants us to do, for He knows the needs of the soul, even beyond the needs of the personalities involved. And if you can pray for and listen to this guidance, there is great satisfaction in knowing that you are blooming according to your own Divine design, doing what God wants you to do in the world, and most importantly being who you are designed to be.

God bless you. Have a beautiful week.
Love,
Ann

Our eternal relationships

It seems my spiritual path has been a journey of looking for those illusions that the angels talk about and one by one routing them up out of my consciousness. I have used all manner of means to help me in this endeavor - meditation, affirmations, healers, shamans, past life regressions, and most of all praying every day for God's grace and truth to fill me. As of late, I feel I've stepped into a whole new reality - one that looks pretty normal (for me!) on the outside, but one that is internally more loving and kind than anything I've ever experienced before. I finally am starting to know myself, not conceptually, but in actuality, as a living breathing creation of the energy of God here upon the earth, and finally I'm starting to see that in others more consistently.

I was sitting with one of my dear dogs the other day. We like to stare into each other's eyes and just 'be' together. It is such a loving experience that my eyes often become moist with tears, and even my dog's eyes water too. We love each other so much. The angels told me once that he is a part of my beloved grandfather's soul. As I stared at him the other day, it dawned on me, that Grandpa is a memory from my past. My dog is in front of me now, and someday in the future maybe we'll have different forms. The joy of knowing that we will be eternally connected hit me so strongly that I felt a deep, deep peace in my heart. No one is every really gone from our lives. No one ever truly leaves our soul. We will all find our loved ones again someday in other realities and on the other side. And that is SUCH a huge comfort. I know my dear dog is aging and won't be with me forever, and while that thought is sad, there is joy in knowing I can never ever lose his soul, and never have.

And so as I sort through my priorities this year I give more time to celebrating the presence of God in all His forms here upon the earth - in the eyes of friends and strangers, in the whispering of the trees, the bright shining sun, the smile of my dogs. I see God's presence in the pigeons that chase me around the yard and even in the mosquitoes that let me talk to them and carry them outside in my bug jar. It is getting quite mind blowing to feel that Presence in so many different ways.

So please, know you are loved, know you are eternally connected with all those whom you love. Know that your soul doesn't end, and so you are eternally safe, loved, supported, and secure. Things like bills, stuff that breaks down, petty disagreements, even political differences - these all become so much less significant when we can embrace the bigger picture - that we are here to dissolve our fears and illusions and both feel and express the presence of God's love on earth. We're still human. We still have to handle our lives, but it is so much easier to handle them with joy when you can really believe in God's great love for you.

Ask to experience God's love this week. Give your angels a challenge. Ask them to make their love so obvious you can't miss it. And be ready to receive because you can't ask for it then block it with a lack of self worth :) Then get ready to feel the wonder and joy of knowing their eternal love for you!

God bless you, as the angels say,
I truly love and appreciate you all - We're all in this school called earth learning together!
Love and hugs,
Ann

Your heart speaks in each moment

I've heard so many people sigh with relief that 2009 was over, and yet, from the angels' perspective, it was an incredible year of growth, a year of examining our priorities, and getting clearer about what truly makes us happy. It was a year of learning greater faith, cleaning out our emotional closets, and in many cases, our real closets as well. It was a year of great movement and change, and as always when we resist change, it is painful, but when we embrace it head on, it can be exhilarating. It's fun to see how God works miracles in your life once you learn to surrender the worries and concerns. After some of my greatest times of stressing and straining, when I finally let go, I've seen God work miracles in my own life. And if you listen to your heart, you may be the one that gets to be a miracle for someone else at times too. God manages the stars in the heavens, as the angels like to say, and can certainly orchestrate our human interactions in ways we could never dream or imagine.

Last weekend I drove up to Sedona for a hike without a clue where I'd end up. I had no plans other than to get outdoors and as always I just waited till the urge hit to go somewhere. This time I ended up hiking back in a canyon and veering off the path on to a little known trail up to some Native American ruins. They are a very sacred spot and one of my favorite places to sit high on a cliff side, pray out loud, and connect with spirit. I rarely run into anyone up there, so it surprised me when, huffing and puffing, as I rounded a spot on the trail, I ran into a beautiful lady sitting on a rock looking a bit lost, and just waiting. She asked me if I knew my way to the ruins and so happily we went on together and enjoyed an amazing time tapping into the earth energies and the spirits of the place. Only after we'd chatted awhile did I learn that she was in major life transition and had been told to come up to this place to pray. She'd tried before, and not found the spot and was asking God to show her the way when I showed up! God knew I was up for adventure and she needed a guide and so we were a perfect pair. The synchronicity delighted us both.

This is how God works. You'll have an urge to do something and find out there is a reason you never imagined. Or maybe you haven't a clue how to manage something in your life and so you sit, pray, and wait for inspiration or help. Other times your sudden desire to go off the beaten path allows you to help another soul in need.

Some of you have heard this story... years ago I was selling a nutritional product to make extra money because when I started doing readings, they weren't paying the bills. I sat at this health fair for two days praying for God to help me make sales. My heart wasn't in it and I was exhausted. "Go home and rest," the angels kept telling me. "No," I have to pay the bills, "I replied stubbornly," not yet understanding completely how God worked. I sat there, until nearly in tears of frustration I gave up, went home, and passed out in exhaustion on the couch. While I was sleeping several people called to order the product!! God always wins! If we insist on ignoring our hearts, we have to do things the hard way. If instead, we acknowledge our hearts, and surrender to them with faith and trust that God cares, then all of the sudden the magic begins to happen in our lives.

So this year, expect joyful synchronicity, magic, miracles, and to experience God's love in your life. God is moving so strongly in the hearts of humanity right now. To resist yourself in the moment is getting more painful. To acknowledge what is inside of you and act accordingly is really where the growth and magic begin to happen.

I wish you all magical and miraculous examples of God's love for you!
Love,
Ann

Let Joy be your guide

I don't have a clue what God has in store for my future and I like it that way! The angels tell me very little about my own future even though people are in my office are begging for predictions every day. At this point in my life, I know where my energy is right this moment, and that tells me exactly what I will be creating. I like the feeling of living in the NOW, knowing that my emotional and mental state is creating my future, and I am not subject to the whims of the world. Rather I am the filter through which God can either pour His love into my life, or the filter that blocks the very same. I am challenging myself this year to surrender to greater and greater love and to allow God to uplift me more and more, as I strive to uplift others. It sounds like a lot of fun!

I also continue to be committed to catching myself in the act of a negative thought and turning it around. I don't want to aim my spiritual energy in directions that don't produce joy anymore.

And last but not least, I am going to strive, as the angels recommend, to be impeccably honest with myself about what supports my own goals and dreams and what does not. This will be continued growth for me, as I care so much about everyone else, I constantly have to remember to focus on myself first. And yet, when I do, I can always serve in greater capacity.

This year, allow joy to be your compass, as the angels said above. Allow the desires of your heart to at least come to the surface. Even if you don't have a clue how to manifest something you want, admit it, feel it, focus on it and allow yourself to be like a child at Christmas, not quite sure when the big day will arrive but certain your gifts will come. God is better at granting our wishes than Santa Claus :) You never know how the presents will be 'wrapped' or when they will arrive. You never know why you go through what you do while you're waiting, but you can trust that if you have made a request of the universe, everything you walk through up to that point is either helping you get to your desire or showing you where you filter out the love.

This year, keep God first. Realize we are all powerful creators and our thoughts and emotions must be kept focused on what is good and true, loving, and kind. Be good to yourselves, because we all deserve it, and as the old saying goes, there is something and someone for everyone, so if you move away from an unhealthy situation, it just allows the whole universe to sift into a greater order.

Happy New Year to all of you! May it be a year in which God surprises us with absolute miracles and unbounded blessings!

Lots of love,
Ann
